5-Star Performance! Scania P-Cab Duo Receive Euro NCAP's Top Rating
Two more Scania trucks have achieved a five-star rating in Euro NCAP's Safer Trucks Programme.
Joining Scania's L-cab 6x2 refuse truck, which received Euro NCAP's top rating in January 2026, are a pair of P-cab trucks in 4x2 distribution and 6x2 utility forms.
Alongside the five-star rating, the cab also scored the highest mark in Euro NCAP's CitySafe testing, which rates features on heavy-duty vehicles designed to prevent accidents in urban environments.
A L-cab 4x2 rigid chassis was also tested and received an overall score of 90%, which was praised by Euro NCAP's testers for boasting exceptional direct vision and for robust safety equipment, ensuring it is a leader in all-round protection when specified with full safety equipment options.
